Today is a very special day for me - it's the birthday of my blog. BLOGnote turned 1 year! The time went fast! How it was back then, 1 year ago, you may read here.
I remember how I was passing an intensive marathone for bloggers by Maria Olendar who established blogging school "WOW! Blog Project", exactly thanks to that marathone, BLOGnote changed from dream into reality. I remember, how I stayed late in the night to learn how to use Wordpress, to see how everything works and how to make everything work. I wanted to launch my blog as soon as possible, for the marathone had already begun. I thank Maria for all support and help that I got from her before starting the blog.
I thank the girls who also participated in marathone for their support, good advice and positive attitude. Special thanks to Anastasia Jeliseeva (blog Multi-culty about Prague and multiculturality) and to Elena Anikushina (blog In love with life about love for life and life in Finland). They believed in me and cheered me when I needed it most.
My greatest thanks to Igor Petsjonkin, the person who created this site, who took care about all technical questions, who patiently explained me everything and who endured my unstoppable grunting. Igor, thank you so much! You are the real master of your craft!
I must express my regret in front of my readers, especially in front of my subscribers, for writing so few this year. I admit, it's not how I expected all this.
How did that happen?
I had some difficult times in winter. I was literally like a squeezed lemon. I felt loss of energy and wasn't able to do anything. I felt empty. This last quite long. At first, I tried to fight against it, but I only made it worse. I lost all energy that was still left in me. Then, when I didn't have any power to fight, I just let go of the situation and went with the flow.
Slowly, very slowly, I started coming back to normal life. Now I feel determined in my decision to continue my blog and make it happen that number of posts will be more than 19 per year.
I've been thinking about what interesting I could come up with on my blog's birthday. I don't have any online-courses, I do not offer any services nor products, therefore, I cannot offer discount for my readers.
But! There is something I can do. I propose you a game, a lottery. And the price is my hand-made card. If you know me for a long time or if you have followed me for a while, then you know that I like scrapbooking and that cards are my passion.
What do you have to do to participate?
It's easy. Please, send me a message on email@example.com consisting of a sentence "I'm in the game" and your full name. Everyone who will send me that message, will be added to a table. I give you time till the end of the week, i.e. till September 22 at 23:59 (Finnish time). After that I won't take any requests. On Monday, September 23, I will make a lottery and I will inform you about the result.
Why don't I show you the price right here, right now?
Because I make the card after I find out who the winner is. The card will be made for that person, considering his/her sex, age and, if possible, his/her interests and lifestyle. You may see my previous works on my Instagram page or in my album on Facebook:
Thank you, my constant readers and subscribers for being with me and for staying with me, no matter what! I say good-bye to you but not for long. Participate in my lottery-game, write me, I will be happy to hear from you!
If you haven't yet subscribed on my blog, you may do it now. Don't be affraid, I don't write often, but when I do, I do it with all my heart. :)
